The first generation of Dodge Caliber was sold in the spring of 2006 as a 2007 model as a five door hatchback in exactly the same size of Dodge Neon, because it was intended to replace Dodge Neon. This compact car is available in various models: SE, SXT, R/T and SRT-4. Each model offer specific features than others, such as four wheel drive instead of two wheel drive, continuously variable transmission CVT2 sourced from Jatco, Magna drivetrain, manual transmission, Chill Zone etc.

Engines are ranging from 1.8L-2.4L in capacity, such as 1.8 L GEMA I4, 2.0 L GEMA I4, 2.0 L Volkswagen diesel I4 and 2.4 L GEMA I4.

This manual provides information on features, controls, basic do it yourself, technical reference, service/repair/maintenance schedules and towing procedures.
