Vortec V6 engine (RPO L35) includes new roller rocker arms, a new roller timing chain and powdered metal sprocket.

These new components help provide quieter operation and extended durability

Available Vortec 2200 4-cylinder alternate fuel engine (L43) (interim availability)

All Vortec engines include Sequential Fuel Injection for precise fuel delivery and instant starts whatever the climate. Its extended-life engine coolant lasts up to 5 years or 150,000 miles, whichever comes first.
