Taken from Introduction:The purpose of this booklet is to supply to both private users and to the maintenance Staff of Service Stations a service handbook which should meet the practical needs of periodical service and cleaning of the carburetor.

In order to simplify these instructions, the various operation necessary for the proper maintenance of the carburetor have been described, and the various devices which compose it have been individually dealt with.

This type of work must be done with the greatest care in order to enjoy all the benefits which the Weber DCOE series of carburetors can give.

The instructions given in this booklet are purely of a general nature, as it is not always possible to follow the order we have suggested for disassembling and assembling the carburetors, thi depending on the existing conditions
