Over the years we have seen steering installations that should never have been installed in a car of any type…. from the use of 1/2″ drive socket flex joints to amateur welding of u-joints to shafts or directly onto a steering box. Even u-joints operating at angles outside of their design parameters is a very dangerous situation.

The steering and brake systems are the most important components of your car. Yet many times connecting the steering box to the steering column seems to be an afterthought.
